Happy New Year Eve~

Hi everyone I'm in the lounge again, and there are a lot less people here than I'd anticipated.
*just a little side note: a person behind me has a laugh very similar to Jaejoong's, and I find it to be very, very cute orz orz orzzzzz*
I believe many people are staring at me because I'm on a laptop on New Year Eve with no family around me teheeee well, they'll be here soon, after they watch their little movie in their room.

Fergie is gonna come here at the Palazzo, in the Lavo restaurant, and unfortunately my family and I aren't gonna visit TT______TT
but hopefully the concierge lounge will let us stay till midnight and see all the fireworks! :DDD

I just wanted to drop in and say thank you very very very very very very very much for your support! I think 2008 has been my most productive year, and certainly has been the best.
leaving middle school was not only a sharing type of sadness, but it was an awesome step towards my future school life.
Surviving Early College classes has actually not been that bad, and starting high school as a freshman is a moment to remember.

Well, I hope everyone is having a blast on the last day of 2008, and start off fresh as a better person by 2009.

Thanks RMD community for having my two drawings on 50 best, and thanks deviantart for visiting more than ever and especially having me invited to the Secret Santa event.
Thanks everyone who did art trades with me, too! you guys are wonderful people DD;

hi, guys i just came to las vegas a couple days ago...
didn't tell you guys ahead of time because it was so sudden...
the span between my father telling me we're going and the moment we're in the car has been a blurry flash of light. - ______________ - ;;;;

well, i'm on my tiny 12" laptop right now, barely surviving without a mac ; ^ ;
and the iMac must be my top reason not to leave home TT___________________TT

unfortuneatly, the concierge lounge is the only place for free internet gehhhh

we're at the palazzo hotel right now, and surprisingly it only took 6 hours to get here -wow-
i cannot vomit lots of pictures until friday or saturday because i cannot text my pics to my email here OTL

and it's very cold here! much colder than Orange County D:,'
it snowed in las vegas a week ago, and the frost monster will not migrate elsewhere

and speaking of monsters, on the first night, i jumped into bed and suddenly my bed started shaking lightly from underneath and my blanket got tighter on my right side... and then i felt/saw an arm thing touch my leg and then it crept back under the bed.
so then i jumped off the couch bed and ran to my mommy's bed, where i flashed my iPod to see if there was any room to scoot in. as i flashed my holy light o' music i noticed that my dad was missing, so i ran back to my couch bed, finding my dad under it...
so i kicked his legs, which were sticking out, and he crawled out of there, laughing at my stupidity of believing in ghosts TT_______________TT he is a cruel man, he is... a cruel cruel man...

but anyways, it's still pretty nice here, except for the fact that my food is not as accessable as for home grrrrrrrr D;

well, as long as i have you guys, i will survive :D

Winter Time~

GAH FINALLY.
my school let us go on winter breakkkk (at last!)

there's more chocolate in my house for Christmas than for Halloween LOL

anyways, just wanted to tell you guys about the past days...
yesterday my friends and I did a sleepover at my house...
we:
-watched "Horton Hears a Who" (hilarious!), and "Spaceballs" (lol)
-did makeup (well, only them. I don't like make-up)
-sang two seconds of karaoke and ten seconds of DDR on the controller (gahh stupid xbox 360 WHY CAN'T YOU USE NORMAL XBOX GAMESSSS)
-ate ate ate yummmm (ramen, 김밥, chocolate, chocolate, chocolate, fruit, ice cream)
-took a billion photos with PhotoBooth
-watched Youtube videos (Kevjumba, and the weird firefox video Mayumi posted on her blog xD)
-went right to sleep :P

and then today I had to hurry and get them out of my house so i could go to art class :,D
DARGH I'VE BEEN WORKING ON THAT DURN STILL LIFE FOR 6 HOURS STRAIGHTTTT

after art class I went to Sterling Art and bought the pens I was looking for:

Then my mom, my little brother, and I went to Ajisen Ramen to eat some NOODLESYUM.
The place is extremely Japanese...
It is also very, very modern and new... Several stores around it are just having their grand openings...

nice way to enter a ramen shop, neh?

I didn't notice these on the ceiling until today (which was my second time there)... they are very, very pretty :)

I ordered the original ramen and croquettes... omg heavennnnnnnn * Q *

"Avion" means airplane, so it basically says "airplaine of dreams" OTL.

I had a similar incident with the door while in the 2nd grade.
i was using the door hinge frame whatever to support myself to get my shoe on...
and then my mom shut the door teehee.
my right hand's pinky got stuck, and i had to go get stitches DDDDD;
the nail fell right off, and it was pretty gross, having the fact that it had to re-grow
it re-grew during the first month of moving to this city haha! xD my new elementary friends probably thought it was grooootessssqueeee * u *

DANG Han Hyo Joo is the luckiest girl ever to be born into the world. many people disagree and get aggravated about her and Jae's costarring, but methinks Hyo Joo is SO CUTE :DDD her smile SHINES ; u ;

C-Mas Myths

Some Christmas myths I will be breaking today...
but first of all, check out this awesome icon I made for my DA and MB accounts! xD

okay.
here are the truths that break the myths:
1. Santa's true color was green. Coca Cola changed it to red.
2. Jesus was NOT born in a farm/barn/cave etc etc. He was born in a house-- unfortunately, the NIV Bible mistranslated a greek word that meant "guest room" and put "inn" instead. Also, the "manger" that Jesus was born in refers to the box made for putting animal food in. It was typical in Bethlehem to put newborns in mangers. HE WAS NOT PUT ON A HAYSTACKKKKKK ! ! ! !
3. Christmas Day is NOT NOT NOT Jesus's birthday. He was actually born in the springtime, but no one knows the real date. This is proven through the sheep that are grazing at night time. If it was winter, the sheep would be sheep-cicles. Dec. 25 is the day Christians rebelled against a king who wanted them to bow down to him. They won.
4. Mary was about 13-14 when giving birth to Jesus.
5. Angels are NOT blue-eyed, golden haired models with wings and a halo. They are frightening through their holiness. (as pastor says, "they are superhuman X-men" xD) note, whenever angels appear, they had to say "do not be afraid" to the people who saw them.
6. The "three kings" were not kings. they were wise men. In fact, the number of wise men is still unknown. people assume that there were three because they brought Jesus three gifts.
7. The shepherds that came to see Jesus were teenagers. Older people tend the sheep at day; younger people tend the sheep at night. Jesus was born at night.

yupp. that's it so far.

harhar so many great things to say, great things to show you guys.

first of all, i want to talk about 5 Centimeters Per Second

I watched it three times, and it made me so emotional LOL.
I first watched a long time ago tehe.
it's super tearjerking. if you understand its depth...
my friends didn't cry HMPH.

so anyways, i really love the ending song.
it's so beautiful. the lyrics are one of the most tender ones i've ever heard. I always, always feel the need to cry when I hear the lyrics.
Like the ocean, it is deep for some people, yet shallow for others...

this is the original ending. I love how it sounds so desperate and longing...

I GOT COPIC MARKERSSSSSSSS
well, only 10 colors though, to try them.
i wanted to order copic ciao, but i didn't know the difference between ciao and sketch, so i just bought those ten, went home, and looked it up...
it seems that ciao only has a few minors from sketch
eehhhhh i think i want to buy set B :D
today i tried drawing with copics (seriously)

gahahahaa it came out all shoujo, and i had to edit it in photoshop because i used yellow as the skin, and it looked all weird. plus, since i only used 10 colors, i had to adjust it OTL

Wow I really can't believe that I've survived this week, especially for my lvl. 13484 of procrastination. * u * he he heeeeehhh...

I'm so happy! i finally got all A's in my classes! xD
(I was trying to boost English and Humanities class)

of course, I'm supposed to be writing an essay for this dumb online tutoring my mom signed me up for, but ehhh... it's due every Sunday at 6 pm so I'll just do it later LOL.
today I didn't do anything except for drawing.
I'm supposed to read 2 chapters of To Kill a Mockingbird for school, but hey, tomorrow I have two study hall periods since it's a Friday YAYS.

I doodled something in my new sketchbook (the first drawing in there aharhar), whichi'll post later. Scanner is waaaaay too loud, and my mom will hear. and if she hears, I will be hung on the wall as decoration :D
